For distributors, wholesalers and B2B sellers quoting products. Each line carries a SKU and its own discount percentage, the quote states delivery lead time and expiry, and the buyer accepts by signing and adding their PO number, which turns the quote into an order you can process.

Price quote: questions people ask
How is the line discount applied?
Each line total is quantity × unit price × (1 − discount ÷ 100). A 10% discount on a $50 item gives $45 per unit.
What if the buyer is tax-exempt?
Leave the tax rate at zero and keep the buyer's exemption or resale certificate on file. This is not tax advice.
Can prices change after I send the quote?
Not before the expiry date if you want to be held to the quote. After expiry, send a new quote.
Does the buyer's signature create a contract?
A signed acceptance of a quote is often treated as an order, subject to its terms. Include your terms or reference them. This is not legal advice.
