Accessibility statement

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the website and app. We haven't completed a formal third-party audit yet; this page lists what we've built for and where we know gaps remain.

What we've built for

  • Keyboard access to every tool, menu and dialog, with visible focus.
  • Labels for every control and form field, including fields on signing pages and public forms.
  • A mobile “form view” that presents PDF form fields as an ordinary web form.
  • Reduced motion when your system asks for it, and text that resizes to 200% without losing content.
  • Editor keyboard shortcuts, listed in the editor under “?”.

Known gaps

  • Placing objects precisely on a page is still easiest with a pointer; keyboard nudging works but is slower.
  • PDFs you upload may not be tagged for screen readers; PDFBetter doesn't yet add tags to exported files.
