What it does
Organize PDF, explained
Organize PDF opens every page as a thumbnail so you can do all page housekeeping at once: drag pages into order, rotate the sideways ones, delete blanks, duplicate a page, and insert blank pages or pages from another PDF. Nothing is written until you save.

It is the right tool for a scan that came out of the feeder in the wrong order with a few upside-down pages, or a report where you need to drop an outdated appendix and slot in a new one. Every change can be undone, and the page count updates as you work.
If all you need is a new page order, Rearrange pages gives you a focused drag-and-drop view with range selection and nothing else. If you only need one operation on many pages, Rotate PDF and Remove pages are quicker. Organize is for doing several of them together.
Organizing runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF is not uploaded, and the saved file downloads free without an account.
How to do it
Organize PDF pages in 4 steps
1Pages out of order
2Move, rotate, remove
3Pages in order
- 1
Upload your PDF
Choose one PDF. Thumbnails load progressively, so long files are usable right away.
- 2
Fix the pages
Drag to reorder; use each page's controls to rotate, duplicate or delete; select several pages with Shift-click to act on them together.
- 3
Insert what is missing
Add blank pages at any position, or pull in pages from another PDF.
- 4
Save
Check the final order and page count, then save. Use Undo at any point before saving.
Example
Before and after
A 14-page scanned lease where pages 5 and 6 are swapped, page 9 is upside down, and pages 13–14 are blank backs from the feeder.
A 12-page PDF in the correct order with every page upright, saved in one pass.

Good to know before you start
- Organize changes pages, not page content. To edit text or images on a page, open the editor.
- Rotation is applied in 90° steps. Slightly skewed scans need Restore scanned PDF.
- Pages inserted from another PDF bring their content but not that file's bookmarks or document-level settings.
If something goes wrong
If something goes wrong
- Thumbnails stay gray on a long file
- Thumbnails render as you scroll to save memory. Scroll to the pages or zoom out; very large scans can take a few seconds per page on a phone.
- I deleted the wrong page
- Use Undo. If you already saved, open the original file again; it was never changed.
Organize PDF: questions people ask
What is the difference between Organize and Rearrange?
Rearrange is only for setting page order, with range selection and a clear final-order preview. Organize adds rotation, deletion, duplication and insertion in the same view.
Do comments and form fields move with their pages?
Yes. Annotations and fields belong to their page, so they move, rotate and duplicate with it, and they are removed if you delete the page.
Can I duplicate a page to make a copy for a second signer?
Yes. Duplicate creates an exact copy next to the original. Duplicated form fields are renamed so the two copies can hold different values.
Can I organize a password-protected PDF?
Unlock it first with Unlock PDF; you need the password to open it.
Is there a page limit?
Without an account, documents up to 200 pages; the Free plan allows 500 and paid plans more. Very large files also depend on your device's memory.
