Timesheet
A flexible timesheet for hourly employees and part-time staff when the pay period does not fit a fixed weekly grid. Each line is a date and what was worked; regular and overtime hours total automatically, and gross pay is estimated from the hourly rate with overtime at time and a half.

Timesheet: questions people ask
When is overtime owed?
Under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, non-exempt employees earn overtime at 1.5 times their regular rate for hours over 40 in a workweek. Some states, such as California, also require daily overtime. This is not legal advice.
Does gross pay include taxes?
No. Gross pay is before withholding and deductions. Payroll calculates net pay.
Can the employee sign electronically?
Yes. Fill the timesheet, sign it in the editor, then send it to the supervisor with Request signatures.
Which timesheet should I use for a fixed weekly schedule?
Use the weekly timesheet, which records in and out times for each day and splits overtime above 40 hours automatically.
