pdfFiller refund: how to request one

pdfFiller's refund policy says first-time self-service subscribers who didn't find the product helpful can ask for a refund within 180 days of their first payment, by contacting Support or using its billing form. Cancelling on its own doesn't refund anything, and purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google, not pdfFiller.

Who qualifies under pdfFiller's refund policy
The policy, checked on 28 October 2026, covers first-time self-service users who did not find the product helpful. The window is 180 days from your first payment date, and older transactions are not eligible.
It also lists limits. A refund can be declined for significant usage. Purchases made through pdfFiller's sales team are non-refundable once the subscription starts. Third-party services, international and currency-conversion fees, and fax and USPS fees aren't refunded. A refund ends your access to paid features.
pdfFiller's pages don't all use the same words. Its pricing-page FAQ says full refunds are available within 180 days of subscription cancellation, while its terms of service say fees are non-refundable except under a refund policy for first-time self-service purchases. When you ask, quote the refund policy page, which is the most specific of the three.
How to request a pdfFiller refund
pdfFiller asks for enough detail to find the payment, so gather it before you write. Its pricing FAQ names Live Chat and support@pdffiller.com; the refund policy also links a billing request form.

Gather the payment details
Payment date and amount, the last four digits of the card or your PayPal email, your full name, billing ZIP code and the email you registered with.

Contact pdfFiller Support
Use Live Chat, email support@pdffiller.com or the billing form linked from the refund policy. Say you're a first-time subscriber asking under the refund policy, within 180 days of your first payment.

Cancel the subscription too
A refund request isn't a cancellation. Cancel in My Account → Subscription & payment so nothing renews.

pdfFiller says an approved refund can take up to 7 business days to appear. Keep Support's reply until it does.
App Store, Google Play and PayPal payments
If you subscribed inside the iPhone or Android app, pdfFiller's refund policy says it can't refund the purchase; ask Apple or Google through their own refund process instead.
PayPal payments are refunded by pdfFiller like card payments: give your PayPal email in the request. Stopping the automatic payment in PayPal doesn't refund anything that has already been charged.
Save your documents before the refund goes through
Because a refund ends access to paid features, download your documents first. pdfFiller's refund policy says that after cancelling you have 30 days to contact Support for your documents, after which they may be deleted permanently. The cancellation guide shows how to download in bulk.
How refunds work at PDFBetter

Does cancelling pdfFiller give me a refund?
