Work order
For maintenance teams, repair shops, property managers and field service businesses. A work order travels with the job: it starts as a request with a location, asset and priority, the technician adds the work performed with labor and parts, and the customer or requester signs when it is done. The totals can feed straight into an invoice.

Work order: questions people ask
What is the difference between a work order and an invoice?
A work order authorizes and documents the job. An invoice bills for it. Many shops create the invoice from the completed work order.
How should I set priority?
Emergency for safety risks or active damage (a leak, no heat in winter), High for anything that stops work, Normal for routine repairs and Low for cosmetic items.
Can I collect work requests online?
Yes. Publish the request section as a web form with Form builder and print or fill the rest when the job is assigned.
What if the job needs follow-up?
Choose Needs follow-up, describe what is left, and open a new work order that references this one.
